Pine Futon Frame

Our solid pine futon frame Mission style is part of our Quebec collection. Mission design is one of the most enduring styles of furniture which has passed the test of time. It is simple, yet elegant, design will never go out of style. The Tops of both arms are wide and flat enough to rest your glass. 

Color of this pine futon frame mission style is Dark Walnut. It is a classic finish on a classic design. Dark walnut is a dark rustic finish which exaggerates the beautiful grains in pine. You can use dark walnut finish as a nice background to any contrasting futon fabrics. 

Full size futon frame is the most common and functional size. It is similar in size to a standard three seat sofa. Once you open it to sofa bed position, then you end up with a standard full size bed. Full size is the same as double. To complete the sofa bed, you need to add any standard size full size mattress and color. 

Quebec Collection

We have different collections of futon frames and each collection has its own characteristics. Our Quebec collection, for start, is made in Quebec, Canada. Wood stains are hand applied and general fit and finish is high. 

The main advantage of futon frames in this collection is metal mechanism. This is an important feature as it makes opening and closing of your futon sofa bed very easy. 

We use non-toxic low VOC finishes for this collection.

Hardware and Assembly

We ship the hardware and instructions as well as a basic allen key with this item. You may need a Phillips screwdriver and do not need power tools.

Assembly of our Quebec collection is reasonably simple as most pieces, including arms, seat and back decks are pre-assembled. When attaching the metal hinge, you need to pay attention to the left or right sides.  

Solid wood

Our Quebec collection is made of solid White Pine. We use premium wood on arms and the frame which are knot free and no finger-joint pieces for maximum strength. Slats on seats and backs of the futon frames are knotty pine. White pine takes on color stain nicely and has nice grains.
