Plywood Loft Bed

This engineered plywood loft bed is part of our Pacific collection and features a 73” height profile. It combines durability, stability, and smart space-saving design, making it a practical choice for modern homes.

The bed includes an angled end-mounted ladder for safe and easy access to the upper bunk. In addition, the angled design creates a more comfortable climb and provides better stability for everyday use.

The elevated frame maximizes usable floor space underneath. As a result, you can easily create extra room for storage, a study area, or a play space depending on your needs.

The overall height measures 73 inches, so the bed fits well in rooms with a standard 96” ceiling.

It is available in Twin XL over Twin XL and Queen over Queen configurations.

You can choose from Natural, Dark Brown, and Pecan finishes to match different room styles. Furthermore, this plywood loft bed is suitable for kids, teens, and adults.

Plywood Frame

We build this loft bed using high-quality furniture-grade plywood. Plywood offers excellent strength, long-term stability, and resistance to warping. In addition, the multi-layer construction keeps the frame lightweight while maintaining strong structural support.

The slats are also made from plywood for added durability. Each slat measures approximately 2.5” wide and sits about 2.5” apart. Pre-drilled holes allow you to secure every slat to the frame with two wood screws for extra stability.

No box spring is required.

Safety Features

This plywood loft bed supports up to 400 lb and includes full-length guardrails on the upper sleeping area for added safety. In addition, strong metal connectors reinforce the structure to reduce movement and improve overall stability.

All finishes are low VOC and comply with US and EU safety standards. Therefore, the bed provides a safer sleeping environment for everyday use.

Assembly

Assembly is simple because the headboards arrive pre-assembled. As a result, setup takes less time and requires fewer steps.

You only need to assemble the staircase, guardrails, mattress rails, and slats. Clear instructions and hardware are included for a straightforward installation process.

Staircase

The staircase uses high-quality hardwood plywood for excellent strength and durability. The multi-layer wood construction resists warping and easily supports both children and adults.

In addition, the staircase includes built-in open shelving on the side. This smart design maximizes floor space and creates four practical storage compartments for books, toys, decorative items, or bedtime essentials.

Mattress

Standard mattresses fit this plywood loft bed. For best results, use a mattress between 6” and 8” thick, depending on your preferred sleeping height.
