Plywood Loft Bed

This plywood loft bed is part of our Pacific design collection with a 73” height profile. It comes with an angled ladder located on the end. This design provides easy access to the upper bed while maximizing usable floor space underneath.

The overall height is 73 inches, making it compatible with a standard 96” ceiling.

The bed is designed as a Twin XL over Twin XL, and Queen over Queen making it ideal for shared rooms or compact spaces. 

Colour, or stain, is available in Natural, Dark Brown, and Pecan finishes. Our Pacific design plywood loft bed is suitable for kids, teens, and adults.

Usability

Plywood Frame

We use high-quality furniture-grade plywood for this loft bed. Plywood is known for its strength, stability, and resistance to warping.
The multi-layer structure ensures durability while keeping the frame lightweight and strong.

Slats are also made from plywood. They are approximately 2.5” wide and spaced about 2.5” apart. Each slat includes pre-drilled holes for securing it to the frame with two wood screws.

No box spring is required.

Safety of Your Loft Bed

This plywood loft bed has a tested weight capacity of 400 lb. The upper sleeping area features full-length guardrails to ensure safe use.

The structure is reinforced with strong connectors to provide stability and reduce movement.

All finishes are low VOC and tested for compliance with US and EU safety standards.

Ladder

The access system is a ladder on end. It can be installed on the left or right side, depending on your room layout.

Angled ladder – easier to climb and a space-saving solution. The ladder is sturdy and designed for safe daily use.

Assembly

The assembly of this modular design loft bed is relatively simple because the headboards arrive pre-assembled.

The only components that require assembly are the ladder, guard rails, mattress rails, and slats.

Mattress

Standard size mattresses fit this plywood loft bed. For the upper bunk, we recommend using a mattress up to 6” thick for safety.

For the lower bunk, use a mattress 6”-8” thick, depending on your preferred sleeping height.
