Plywood Bunk Bed

This engineered plywood bunk bed construction is part of our Pacific collection, designed with durability, stability, and everyday functionality in mind. It offers a practical and space-efficient sleeping solution suitable for a variety of room layouts.

The bed includes an integrated staircase with a headboard entry design. This allows safe and easy access to the upper bunk. The staircase also features built-in open shelving on the side. This helps you save space and stay organized.

You can also customize the storage under the bed. Add side and front vanity panels, an under-bed dresser, or a set of two drawers. These are separate units, so you can add them later if needed.

This model is available in Twin XL over Twin XL, Queen over Queen, and King over King configurations. It works well for shared bedrooms and compact spaces. The total height is 73 inches.

We offer three finishes: Natural, Dark Brown, and Pecan.

This bunk bed is suitable for kids, teens, and adults.

Plywood Frame

We use furniture-grade plywood for the entire frame. This material is strong, durable, and resistant to warping. It is ideal for bunk bed construction.

The multi-layer plywood structure adds strength and stability. At the same time, it keeps the bed lightweight.

We also make the slats from plywood. Each slat is about 2.5” wide and spaced approximately 2.5” apart. Every slat includes pre-drilled holes for secure installation with two wood screws.

Safety of Your Bunk Bed

This bunk bed supports up to 400 lb on the upper deck. The lower deck supports a similar weight capacity.

We install full-length guardrails on the upper bunk for added safety.

Strong metal connectors secure the upper and lower sections together. This improves stability and long-term durability.

All finishes are low VOC. They meet US and EU safety standards.

Stairs

We build the staircase from high-quality hardwood plywood. This material provides strength and resists warping over time.

The staircase includes built-in open shelving on the side. It creates four storage compartments. You can use them for books, toys, or everyday essentials. You can also display decor items.

Assembly

This modular bunk bed is easy to assemble. The headboards arrive pre-assembled.

You only need to assemble the ladder, mattress rails, and slats.

Mattress

This bunk bed fits standard-size mattresses.

For the upper bunk, we recommend a mattress up to 6” thick for safety.

For the lower bunk, use a mattress between 6” and 8” thick, depending on your preferred height.
