Memory Foam Mattress

At Bunk Beds Canada, we offer a few different types of memory foam mattress to fit your bunk bed or regular bed frame. For bunk beds, we recommend using a 6” thick mattress for the upper bunk and depending on space, either a 6 or 8” mattress for the lower bunk. For our regular platform beds, you can use any thickness mattress you wish.

Memory Foam Mattress For Bunk Beds

We highly recommend using a memory foam mattress for your bunk bed since they absorb the force very well. Kids like jumping around no matter how many times you tell them not to. Memory foam due to its very nature absorbs these forces and therefore puts less tension on your frame. As for sleeping, which is the main reason, memory foam is very comfortable to sleep on.

Memory Foam Heat

Some people complain that memory foam mattresses are hot. Well, they are not hot, might be a bit warmer than coil mattresses. To remedy this issue, on our Italian Collection, we infuse our memory foam with gel. Check out our Italian SIX mattress which is an excellent choice for bunk and loft beds.
