This hardwood storage loft bed with staircase on end, a 3 drawer dresser, study desk and narrow bookcase, is part of our Modular Collection. The name is for the fact that this loft is made of many building blocks which give you a lot of choices.

We have three headboard styles to choose from namely Curve, Slat and Panel style. Curved headboard is 4” taller than the other two headboards.

You can also choose three different color options of White, Natural and Chestnut finish.

This loft bed is also available in one height of 51 inches.

Finally, this Modular design loft bed comes in only one size.

Usability

This Modular design hardwood storage loft bed provides you with zillion options of use and lots of possibilities in the future. This is because this loft is a configuration of a few individual items, therefore, you can add a few pieces, sold separately, and convert this loft to a bunk bed or remove a few pieces and only use it as a bed frame.

Our modular design hardwood loft bed is suitable for use by anyone. We recommend a minimum age of 6 years for climbing a loft bed.

Solid Wood Frame

We use solid hardwood for this storage loft bed. Our factory uses Aspen, Maple, or Birch wood interchangeably for the production of this unit. To achieve maximum strength, we use premium knot-free hardwood for this loft bed.

Its slats are made of plywood. They are about 2.5” wide and 2.5” apart from each other. Each slat comes with holes. So, you can secure every slat to the frame with two wood screws.

Under Loft Storage

The design and height of this loft bed allows you to maximize storage. Included in this package is a study desk, a narrow bookcase and a 3 drawer dresser set. You can choose a few other case goods such as a matching chest or additional dresser sets to fit under your loft. Also, the height of these case goods match the clearance of the loft which gives you a nice flush and clean look.

Safety of your loft bed

This modular design hardwood storage loft bed can hold a tested 400lb weight capacity on the upper deck. All loft sizes have a center support except for the Twin.

he modular design has 4 metal pings, purpose built Rocklocks which lock the upper headboards to lower legs.

We use acrylic paint for the white finish. For natural and chestnut finishes we use nc lacquer (nitro cellulose). Also, we test the finishes for chemical compliance with US and EU safety standards.

Stairs

This hardwood storage loft bed comes with four stairs and each stair has a drawer in it. Drawers are also wood, soft-close feature plus with dove-tailed joinery. Lower drawers do not go all the way to the end, only the upper two drawers do.

Also, this staircase comes with a solid banister for additional safety and ease when climbing.

Bookcase

We have a narrow bookcase that fits perfectly under this storage loft bed. This bookcase size works to accommodate the size of both the dresser and the desk. Also, this bookcase has three adjustable shelves and can be used as a stand alone piece.

Storage drawers

You will get one set of three drawers dresser for the front face of this hardwood storage loft bed. This set of drawers tucks perfectly below the bed or can be pulled out and used as a freestanding piece. Dresser is a solid wood frame and the drawers to this dresser have a solid wood face, however the inside part of the drawer is made of plywood, with a soft close feature.

Study Desk

This study desk is a free standing hardwood study desk with two drawers and wheels. It is part of our case goods category and fits under the loft. The wheels are optional, and come with the study desk. If you need to, you can attach wheels under each leg of your study desk so you can easily roll out your desk from underneath your loft.

You can fit your drawers on either the left or the right of your desk to suit the orientation of your loft.

Assembly

Assembly of this Modular Design hardwood storage loft bed is reasonably simple. No need to assemble the headboards, stairs, desk and bookcase since they come in one piece.

However, you need to assemble the guard rails, connect mattress rails, and slats. The tricky bit is installing the Rocklock.

Mattress

A standard size mattress fits this loft bed just fine. We recommend using a maximum of six inches thick mattress for this loft bed.

For extra long versions, you will need an extra long size mattress and bed sheets which are readily available.
