Bed End
This bed end, or footboard, is part of our Modular Design collection. There is one piece in the package and conversion hardware is inside the box. Conversion hardware is for connecting mattress rail to this footboard, and once installed, you do not see the hardware. You can use this item as a footboard, or use two of them and either end and create a low profile bed like our 1818.
We use this bed end as a footboard in our 4018 bed. Look at the Shipping Box tab and see Box ID 41; this kit is that unit for twin size. For full-size, we use Box 56 and 61 for queen-size.
Please note that you can not use this bed end in any other of our collections. They only fit our modular collection.
Modular Collection
We have different collections of beds and bunk beds, and each group has its characteristics. Our Modular collection is like LEGO bricks, a handful of building blocks give you endless possibilities. You can buy a few pieces or modules in the future and transform your furniture as your child grows or your needs change.
Modular is our premium collection. We bevel all the edges, use modern precision machining, and quality wood and hardware. The fit and finish are exceptional.
In the Modular collection, we use durable, non-toxic, low-VOC finishes for a clean and healthy choice for your home.
Hardware and Assembly
We use oversize high-quality hardware for this collection. We include the hardware, instructions, and a simple allen key. The best is to open all the boxes and find everything before you start the assembly process. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and do not need power tools.
Assembly of our modular collection is reasonably straightforward, and some pieces, including headboards or stairs, are pre-assembled. We recommend two adults for easier assembly.
Solid wood
In our Modular collection, we only use solid hardwood such as birch, maple, or aspen. We use premium wood, which is knot-free with no finger-joint pieces for maximum strength, and that is how we can achieve 400 pounds of weight capacity. In this collection, we also use MDF or plywood for large surfaces like the staircase bannisters and the side of the case goods.
Solid wood products like bed frames, loft beds and bunk beds are robust, easy to maintain, beautiful to look at, last a long time and hold their value.
