Large Bean Bag

Large bean bag chair in Taupe color. This color is very subtle and in some light, you may even see it as grey. A very beautiful and very neutral color that can match and blend in any environment.

Size

Our large bean bag chair is rectangular in shape. Empty cover, laying flat on the floor, is 55 inches by 71 inches. Due to the lumpy nature of bean bags, it is not easy to calculate the assembled dimension, so approximately its width is 54” and its depth is around 32” and height is at 32”.

Shipping Size

We ship this large size bean bag chair in one box. Box dimension is 30” wide by 20” wide by 41” high. Inside the box, you will find beans inside a mesh bag and this mesh bag is inside a plastic bag. We put the cover inside this box as well. So you will receive these two pieces inside one box.

Be careful when you are trying to open the box. Do not use a sharp object to open the box as it may puncture the mesh bag and cause beans to fly all over.

Assembly

It is super easy to assemble this bean bag chair. After you open the box and pull out the cover and the mesh bag, you are ready to assemble. Cover is literally a big rectangular bag. Just like putting a pillow inside a pillowcase, you need to grab the mesh bag and put it inside the cover.

Make sure to push the corner of the mesh bag to the inside edge of the cover. This is to ensure perfect fit. After that, close the zipper on the cover but leave a few inches open. At this point, if you like, push the air out of the cover, then close the zipper. After closing the zipper of your bean bag cover, close the velcro. Now you are ready to use your bean bag chair.

Covers

The cover of this bean bag chair is made of polyester, therefore, it is easy to clean and very durable. We triple stitch the seams for maximum strength. One short edge of the cover has a full-length zipper, reinforced with velcro to make sure no beads can escape. Our bean bag covers are waterproof and UV resistant.

Beans or Beads

Beans, or beads, come in a separate mesh bag. We use a polyester mesh bag so it flexes and moves and lasts. The mesh bag has a small zipper to allow you to add more beans when needed or pull some out if you desire.

They are made from polystyrene which is the same product as styrofoam you see in packaging electronics. The difference is that these beans are not attached, so-called virgin beads, and they are higher in density. Therefore our beans last a lot longer than some bags with recycled beans.

Our beans do get flattened over time. This depends on how you use them. Kids tend to jump on them which of course …. We do sell beans in small bags as well in case you need to top up. It will take you a long time before you need it.

Usage

You can use rectangular bean bags in three ways. Stand the bag on its short edge and use it as a chair, or stand it on its long edge and use it as a lounger. You can also lay it flat and lie down on it.

You can use your bean bag indoors or outdoors but they are not designed for use in the swimming pool.

Our bean bags are good for any age and any place. They are perfect indoor and outdoor, you can use them at home or in the office or school. You can also use them in public settings such as libraries since they are very durable.

This large bean bag chair is more practical for teens and adults. Children may find our large bean bag chair a bit too large. It is better to consider Medium or Small size for kids.
