About Collection
Vanisla Collection is designed in our very own beautiful Vancouver and hence is close to what West Coast, and Canadian, customer wants.
Names of products are based on cities on Vancouver Island, Vanisla as portmanteau of the two words, mainly to reflect that designs are from West Coast.
Wood that is used in this collection is Rubberwood, aka Malaysian Oak. Rubber, as well as Latex is from this tree.
Our Advantages
Sustainable Wood
This collection uses Rubberwood. After 25-30 of producing Latex, tree is cut and new one is planted in its place.
Solid Hardwood
Rubberwood, aka Malaysian Oak, has dense grain. Harder that Pine and softer than Birch.
Made in Malaysia
Malaysia enjoys high labor standards, has flourished furniture industry since 1990s.

Latex is from Rubber Tree
Similar to our own Maple Syrup, Latex is also from sap of Rubber Tree. Rubberwood is useful twice!

This collection is warehoused locally in Delta, BC, and hence can be shipped to you quickly. Additionally, if and when parts are needed, they are shipped as quickly.

Although we have tested this collection for up to 300 lb, and we have sold a lot to farms, still we recommend to keep your weight around 220 lb.
