Solid Wood Platform Bed

Our solid wood platform bed is part of our Quebec collection. This bed gives your bedroom a very airy and modern look. Low profile our beds frame made from solid White Pine, perfect for bed sized the traditional mattress.

The Quebec design platform bed comes in four different sizes you can choose from. The Nagano bed frame comes in standard twin, double, queen and king size.

Wood is natural and depending on the grain of the piece of wood, variations in the tones of the stain are normal.

Quebec Collection

We have different collections of platform bed and each collection has its own characteristics. Our Quebec collection, for a start, is made in Quebec, Canada. The wood stains we hand-apply, and the general fit and finish are high.

There are a lot of colours to choose from. We use matt wood stain for our colours, which means you get to see the beauty of wood grains and no clear quote lacquer. We use non-toxic, low-VOC finishes for this collection.

Solid wood

Our Quebec collection is made of solid White Pine. We use premium wood which are knot free and no finger-joint pieces for maximum strength. Slats on seats and backs of the platform beds are knotty pine. White pine takes on color stain nicely and has nice grains.

Mattress

A standard size mattress fits this platform bed just fine. We recommend using a six or eight inches thick mattress for this bed, especially if you are planning to convert this bed to a bunk or loft later on.

For extra long versions, you will need an extra-long size mattress and bed sheets which are readily available.
