Description
Our six inch pure organic latex mattress is a 6" of %100 GOLS Organic Dunlop Latex. There are no other layering materials. This mattress has a removable tencel cover, one sided. Usually length and width of mattresses are standard but not the thickness. This mattress is 6 inches thick.
Usability of Latex Mattress
Mattress that is made of latex foam is a better substitute for memory foam. Just like the memory foam, latex mattress contours to your body for optimum comfort. It absorbs movement through its unique properties. Unlike memory foam, a latex mattress is cooler and of course it is natural.
Latex Foam
We use 100% GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex in this organic latex mattress. Latex is a natural product, though synthetic versions are also available which we do not use in this mattress. Latex is coming from a rubber tree.
Since this mattress is entirely made of pure latex, therefore it is a heavy mattress. If you wish to use it with a bunk or a loft bed, please use our heavy duty collections with 400 lb of weight capacity.
Removable Cover
Cover of this mattress is removable so if you must, you can wash it and put it back on. Three way zipper we use on this cover makes this process of removing the cover much easier. This cover is made of 20 percent Tencel and 80 percent polyester which covers the top and 4 sides. The back, or base, fabric is non-stick material.
It is worth mentioning that this cover is not going to act as bedding. You do need to get fitted sheets for your mattress.
Assembly
We ship this item as one unit and you do not need to do anything. We even put the cover on before we ship the mattress.
Shipping
Sometimes we vacuum pack this mattress before we ship it out. In such cases you will receive a smaller version of the actual size. It may take one or maximum two days for your foam mattress to fully return to normal after opening.
