Pine Futon Frame
Our solid pine futon frame with no arm is part of our Quebec collection. Kamouraska futon sofa bed gives you a very airy and modern look as a sofa, which is excellent in small spaces. Also, once you open your futon frame as a sofa bed, an armless design means no obstacle close to your head or foot when sleeping. To complete the sofa bed, you must add a futon mattress and futon cover.
Quebec Collection
We have different collections of futon frames, each with its characteristics. Our Quebec collection, for a start, is made in Quebec, Canada. The wood stains we hand-apply, and the general fit and finish are high.
The main advantage of futon frames in this collection is the high quality of construction, sturdiness and durability. In our Quebec collection, you sit like a regular sofa, and your feet hit the ground. The sitting angle is more natural and upright.
There are a lot of colours to choose from. We use matt wood stain for our colours, which means you get to see the beauty of wood grains and no clear quote lacquer. We use non-toxic, low-VOC finishes for this collection.
Hardware and Assembly
We ship the hardware and instructions and an essential allen key with this item. You may need a Phillips screwdriver and do not need power tools.
Assembly of our Quebec collection is reasonably straightforward as most pieces, including arms, seats and back decks, are pre-assembled. We recommend two adults for assembling this futon frame.
Solid wood
We use solid White Pine to make our Quebec collection. We use premium wood on the arms and the frame, which are knot free and no finger-joint pieces for maximum strength. Slats on the seats and backs of the futon frames are knotty pine. White pine takes on colour stain nicely and has nice grains.
Solid wood products like futon frames are sturdy, easy to maintain, beautiful to look at and hold their value.
