Underbed Storage

Modular design solid hardwood underbed dresser unit with two drawers is available in 3 colors. This is our 7709 model.

The naming of our case goods is basically the combination of width and height of the piece. For example, if the width is 77.20" and height is 12.60", then we call it the 1826 model. Usually all case goods are 26.80" deep.

And what is a casegood anyway? Any boxy looking piece of furniture with doors or drawers for storage such as nightstand, dresser, or even bookcase we call them Casegoods.

Made of either birch, maple, or aspen premium knot-free solid hardwood, factory select. Solid hardwood furniture is sturdy, easy to maintain, and holds its value.

Usability

This underbed dresser unit has its own metal glides so drawers don't touch the ground so it is very easy to open and close the drawers even on the floor with carpet. All other underbed storage solutions in this collection we have are all rolling on the ground with wheels therefore this unit is the most unique one.

Adaptability is part of its design. You can put this underbed storage dresser under all daybeds, platform beds and bunk beds within our Modular Collection system.

This unit comes in one size which fits under single and double beds. For extra long beds, there is a filler panel to make it work.

Safety

Drawers have safety pins to prevent you accidently pulling the drawer out. If you should need to take out the drawer completely, you need to release the pins first and they are hidden under each drawer.

Drawers

We use soft close for drawer(s) in our Modular Collection casegoods. Soft close is a nice feature to have as it adds to longevity of your unit as well as adding to pleasure of using it.

Drawers are all using dovetail joints for maximum strength and durability.

There are no visible metal rollers for opening and closing the drawers since we use a hidden mechanism for cleaner look.

Knobs on each drawer are also solid wood and in matching color. If you wish to opt for a different look, we do offer a nice collection of them. See our knobs collection.

Assembly

Assembly of Modular Design underbed dresser happens in our factory and therefore you do not need to assemble anything except attaching the knob(s). By assembling your dresser at our factory, we ensure the sturdiness of your casegood since we can use stronger joinery as opposed to DIY assembly at home.
