The drawer bottoms are secured in a groove in the solid wood drawer box, so the bottom will never fall out of your furniture. The Modular Collection's under bed drawers use premium solid knot-free hardwood either birch, aspen, or maple wood and have no finger joint for maximum strength. But, if you can't pick between the two collections, you can choose our Vanisla Collection which uses rubberwood or Malaysian oak. The rubber, as well as Latex, is from this tree. The wood used here is harder than pine and softer than birch wood. 

The drawers we have at Bunk Beds Canada typically have handles or knobs allowing you to pull them open. And they are usually mounted on metal drawer slides or other hardware that provides smooth and easy operation. They are also on sturdy wheels or casters, making it easy to roll them in and out from under the bed smoothly.
