Large Bean Bag Chairs
At Bunk Beds Canada, beside bunk beds, we also do offer large bean bag chairs. We use rectangular shape bean bags so you can sit on as well as laying on them. Empty cover, laying flat on the floor, is 55 inches by 71 inches. Due to the lumpy nature of bean bags, it is not easy to calculate the assembled dimension, so approximately its width is 54” and its depth is around 32” and height is at 52”.
Our large bean bags are good for any age and perfect for teens and adults.
Bean Bag Colors
We offer 16 fun and vibrant colors for our medium bean bag chairs. There are three varieties of blue colors: Large Bean Bag Chair in Navy, Blue C or Light Blue, and Royal Blue. We have two shades of grey, light grey and charcoal grey, as well as green, red, purple, and yellow bean bags.
Bean Bag Covers or Shell
The cover of our bean bags are made of polyester, therefore it is easy to clean and very durable. We triple stitch the seams for maximum strength. One short edge of the cover has a full-length zipper and reinforced with velcro to make sure no beads can escape. Our bean bag covers are waterproof and UV-resistant.
Beads or beans inside Bean Bags
Beans, or beads, come in a separate mesh bag. We use a polyester mesh bag so it flexes and moves and lasts. The mesh bag has a small zipper to allow you to add more beans when needed or pull some out if you desire.
They are made from polystyrene which is the same material as styrofoam you see in electronics packaging. The difference is that our beans are more like beads, hence we also call them virgin beads. More importantly, our beans are higher in density and therefore they last a lot longer than some bags with recycled beans.
Our beans do get flattened over time. It really depends on how you use them. Kids tend to jump on them which of course….
If you need to add extra beans, we do sell them in small bags. It will take you a long time before you need it.
Usage of Large Bean Bag Chair
You can use rectangular bean bags in three ways. Stand the bag on its short edge and use it as a chair; stand it on its long edge and use it as a lounger; or lay it flat and lie down on it.
Our bean bags are good for any age and any place. They are perfect indoor and outdoor or use them at home or in the office. You can even use them in public settings such as schools and libraries since they are very durable. Please note that these bean bags are not for use in a swimming pool.
Large size bean bag chairs are more practical for teens and adults.
